Listen to the 10 Songs competing to be Iceland's entry to Eurovision!

If we have Eurovision fans reading this – the 10 acts competing in the Icelandic national final Söngvakeppnin just dropped! 

Tune in on 4 March at 20:45 CET when the Icelandic nation will pick its representative to go to Liverpool. 

What’s exciting this year is there are a lot of emerging artists competing, but we know there are some heavyweights working with them behind the scenes on production and songwriting. 

Producers along with James Wong, Joy Deb and our very own Hildur Kristín, Pálmi Ragnar Ásgeirsson, Árni Hjörvar Árnason and Arnar Guðjónsson have songs they produced in the running. They’re previous work consists of bands like Kaleo, The Vaccines and Fifth Harmony.

Also some songwriters worth noticing are the Icelandic Alma Goodman and Klara Elias who wrote the song for Sigga Ózk and have formerly written songs for the likes of Katy Perry, Rosie Darling and Felix Sandman.

Joy Deb produced the Eurovision-winning song Heroes in 2015. Will this be the year he wins again, with his track produced for BRAGI?
